These throttle actuators have been a common failure item on the V10 M5/M6. We suggest replacing both if you have had one fail. The plastic gears inside wear out over time so if one actuator has failed it is likely the second one will fail in the near future. We suggest lubricating throttle linkages thoroughly when replacing these.
